New page

''Paraphrased from [http://www.tonepad.com/ Tonepad]''

Not as deep or obtrusive as its big brother, the Phase 90, the Phase 45 offers a smooth, pleasing swirl that is not unlike a chorus. This would be a good introductory build before doing the Phase 90 and is a great effect in its own right.
== Mods and Suggestions ==
* It's been reported at least twice that the Envelope Modulator on the Polyphase clone isn't as pronounced as the production model. The Envelope Modulator voltage is combined with the EF voltage through an 820k mixing resistor. Reducing this value as low as 150k corrects the issue. ''Dave_B''

* Two of the pots are reversed on the board. Assuming the EH schematic is accurate, Envelope Sensitivity and Modulation Rate need to be wired are reversed. If you're looking down at the component side of the board with the knobs along the top, the lugs should be wired as follows:

Fdbck | Rate. | EvSns | EnvMd | Env Rate
1 2 3 | 1 2 3 | 3 2 1 | 1 2 3 | 3 2 1

* On my build, the amplitude of the Rate knob eventually decreases as the frequency goes up. This sounds like the LFO stops, and in a way it is. The voltage swing drops to about .004v at about 400hz.
